Christmas Tree!

We finally put our Christmas tree up! Aubree especially was very anxious and excited to put up the tree and decorate it, asking everyday when we were going to do so.
RD pulled down the huge box Saturday night and set up the tree, and Aubree was all ready to decorate it, but we didn't have time for our weekly Christmas movie and tree decorating, so we made her wait till the next day. First thing in the morning, she asked to decorate the tree. We made her wait till after church, so we could all be home, and Finally she got to do it! She quickly scattered paper and boxes as she unwrapped her ornaments, and was done with hers in no time. Grace and Cameron joined us as we listened to carols and pulled out our ornaments. It was awesome. Everyone is old enough to be careful, the kids did a great job spacing ornaments, and got along, and loved seeing their ornaments. Besides a brief crisis when Grace couldn't find one of hers. When Cameron was done he joined Reese watching some old family videos of christmas, as RD prepped dinner. The girls were eager to help, so they finished putting up ALL of the rest of RD and my ornaments, every single one this year. And we still have room! Phew. There are a lot of puppy ornaments on there ;)
Aubree exclaimed it "was the best sunday ever", and said over and over how much she loved the tree.

After dinner we watched the First Presidency Christmas Broadcast and they all sipped hot cocoa Cameron made. And Aubree decided it was NOT the best sunday ever, struggling with being bored, while we struggled to hear over her. We finished up with the rest of Christmas decorating, which restored the good spirits.
