Rock Show

While Reese spent ALL day practicing for the cultural celebration for the Provo City Center Temple dedication, we took the rest of the kids to the annual Rock Show in Spanish Fork. It was free, and fun.We all got to pick a free rock when we walked in, which was fun for the kids. There was a lot of interesting fossils, minerals, and gems to see and touch. Cameron really liked seeing the fossilized shark teeth, and eventually decided to buy a tiny scorpion in a rock. Soon after we arrived we saw a 'dinosaur' walking around, and Aubree was terrified, insisting to be carried. RD get saying he wanted to find the dinosaur, and she'd get scared. When we finally got closer, she saw it was a man wearing a huge awesome dinosaur skeleton costume, and then she was ok. We never did get a pic, bummer.

We saw rocks that glow in the dark, rocks with fish skeleton imprints, a fossilized dinosaur leg bone and footprint, and lots of cool rocks.
The kids also spotted rock candy, and RD let them get some. Well played, rock show, well played.
