I am often struck by the innate instincts and desire Aubree and Grace have to nurture and create. Aubree Loves to play with and care for her dolls. She has never seen me with a baby for more than a few minutes, being the youngest, but she calms, snuggles, swings, and otherwise helps the babies be happy and learn to do things like walking and sitting.
Grace loves to create. She has a wall full of pictures and drawings in her room, and loves to make things to beautify our home or to give to someone to show love. She has a great desire to learn how to make things, varying from knitting hats to learning to sew, to making Christmas ornaments. Our home can overflow with her creations, and we have large stacks of her many drawings, notes, and cards. Isn't it amazing the natural capacity and desire to fulfill their potential as women, their great power to influence and contribute to the lives of others?! What a glorious purpose!
"The priesthood duty of sisters is to create life, to nurture it, to prepare it for covenants of the Lord. Don’t confuse the power with the keys and the offices of the priesthood. God’s power is limitless and it is shared with those who make and keep covenants. Too much is said and misunderstood about what the brothers have and the sisters don’t have. This is Satan’s way of confusing both men and women so neither understands what they really have." -- Julie B. Beck

We have amazing daughters! I would say though, that despite their divine nature, having an amazing, righteous, wonderful mother of God like yougoes a long way in this life to help our daughters in their life missions. Thank you for being so great and influence. I love you so much!
