As part of the Jaialdi festival here in Boise, home to the largest Basque population in the US I believe, they invited a football team from Spain, La Liga's Athletic club de Bilboa to play against Liga's MX Club Tijuana. We were really excited when they announced it, and kept on an email list for the event. When tickets were finally available, RD got three seats for him, Reese and Cameron.
THe day of hte game, we actually got offered tickets from 3 sources! for free! THey had so many tickets left, they were giving them away free to summer school and various people had extra. We were a bit bummed, since we spent so much on our tickets, but ours at least ended up being a bit better seats.
The guys had an awesome time! The game was great, and Bilboa won 2-0. Reese can't wait till his next soccer game, in about a month, as his 12th birthday present from January.
