So, this is rather late, but better then never. We had over 30 inches of snow over Thanksgiving week, a november record, which the kids and RD were so excited about! It was beautiful, but also sometimes made it impossible for us to get out of our drive. When we moved here in May we wondered about it in winter, but there weren't other options. Thankfully we have kind neighbors who helped push it out, and helped shovel it with a four-wheeler. Over the long weekend, we let the kids do some sledding on the drive, and they had a lot of fun. They really like trying to surf down.
They also made a huge snow fort with all the shoveled snow. 
Grace especially would stay out there for hours and hours if we were also willing to. 
It's almost all melted now, but the kids are still hoping to get some ice-skating in this winter.
