Anticipation

Aubree had some money saved up, and really wanted to buy something with it. She looked around on amazon, and ordered a Shimmer&Shine coloring boards and book. She was SO excited, counting down the days, talking often about how excited she was to get her package. The day of delivery arrived, and she was anxious for it to come. She was giddy as she opened the package, and started coloring right away. She had thought the boards were washable, to color repeatedly, but they were just cardboard, which was disapointing to her, but she still loved it. Till the next day, when the board broke, and her friends argued over who got to keep the remaining board she'd offered to give away. She'll still color the book, and probably play with the board, but sometimes the anticipation is the most enjoyable.
