Water wars

We recently had a fire with smores, on a night that finally wasn't too hot. Aubree was showing me tricks on the swings, Reese holding and singing to Renée, and Cameron and Grace sitting around finishing up smores, when RD brought the hose over to put out the coals.

He's always used pitchers before; the hose proved too much of a temptation.

Of course the kids retaliated, and the water war was on. Aubree got on a swimsuit and made brief forays across the yard, but mostly stayed out of the spray. Cameron and Grace have no fear.
Everyone got soaked, had fun, and ended happy. Summer success!
