Mama Carol

Mama Carol and Aunt Stephanie were at the house when we got back, and it was wonderful to spend time with them!  We got to help celebrate a particularly auspicious yearly anniversary for her, which was delicious and a lot of fun. Gramp started the day off with his famous and amazing belgian waffles.

YUM!
Grace and Mama Carol spent over an hour playing "I spy", and she made Grace feel super special by marveling at Grace's ability to get so close to the hummingbirds.

The kids took advantage of an opportunity Gramp offered,  and all of them helped pick up four large black garbage bags of pine cones, and 11  bags of pine needles. Even Bree!

Grace and Reese worked a bit longer than the others, I was impressed how much they did. Reese was excited to be able to drive the cool tractor lawnmower, taking all those bags down the driveway. He told us we needed to get one.

Some hard work and fun playing makes for a great day!
