Blueberry morning

We were there in time for the last week of public blueberry picking at our favorite farm. They were all out of their blueberry jerky again though! bummer. Two years running. All the families went out, spotting each other between the large bushes loaded with berries. The sun was hot, and we had some blood and tears with the sweat, but we picked about 13 lbs of blueberries. And a few of us maybe ate a few along the way. Aubree preferred to have me help her fill her bucket, so it'd look fuller.

A third of our family doesn't like blueberries, but we were still able to gobble up all the blueberries in 5 days! I'm glad Aubree's out of diapers. So the last day they were open, most of us headed back for more. This time we went to the end of the row, and were rewarded with lots of berries AND a spot in the shade from the nearby trees. Score!

And yes, we still picked almost the same amount. And they were gone in less than a week.
We heart michigan blueberries.
