| Another thing they love is the soda; they must have gone through more than 10 soda in one day between the kids and RD |
The kids line up in front of the house, plastic sacks and drinks ready. Aubree wasn't too sure about hanging out, with the loud noise and large vehicles, but then she figured out they were throwing candy, and immediately got to work unwrapping, gnawing on it in the wrapper if she couldn't quite get it all off soon enough. She eventually got down and went out gathering, shrieking if she thought someone was going to take her candy. The other kids were very kind and helped her find it.
Bree was ecstatic to have a whole bag of candy, and was going down on it. When we finally took it away she screamed for a good 20 minutes. I was having yuletide doubts about the parade. The other kids, knowing our tyrannical habits of confiscating the candy after a substantial amount has disappeared, weren't as vocal in opposition as Aubree. But they incessantly ask for more, while Aubree was thereafter oblivious to the memory.

That sounds a lot like our parade in Whitehall -- more candy than Halloween, mostly from passing political candidates. We have been enjoying seeing the Cannon and Geiger grandkids together and can't wait to add the Boardmans to the mix. BTW, the Beans now have tickets and are planning on coming. See you soon!
