Hooray for Grace's birthday! In honor of Grace's big day, Reese gave her several piggy back rides, running around the couch. She was thrilled.
Grace got to spread her birthday fun over a couple days. For her party we took a couple friends to JumpTime Junior, which has a foam pit, bunch of trampolines and bounce houses/slides. They wore themselves out, pink in the face, and all ready for a rest by the time we were done. It was a blast! Though one friend had to take a lot of drink breaks.
Then we came back for cake and ice cream; Grace wanted a brown unicorn on a white frosted chocolate cake. For her birthday dinners she wanted pancakes! easy peasy. The one thing she said she wanted for her birthday was a baby unicorn; she is easy to please! What a lot of fun she is, creative, spunky, and kind. She prefers I pick up the worms (to save them from the rain), instead of her, and is so proud of 'being a reader'. Postpones bedtime by 'cleaning her room', and after a half hour bath asks 'wasn't that quick!?". Actually tries most of the stuff we have for dinner, and loves 'how to train a dragon'. I sure love that girl!
