Festival of Trees!

Hello! We're actually writing two weeks in a row! Amazing! We're doing ok! RD is sick with some cold/sinus thing, but he's actually going to a doctor soon, so hopefully that'll clear up, it's been dogging ou family for over a month now. I'm still feeling sick, I was hoping to start some water aerobics to battle the aching back and absence of muscle withthe proliferation of 'layers'. RD was psyching me up for it, but when it came time, I just realized it was insane, I still have a hard time taking showers and making dinner, so I guess i'll just be fat and sore for this pregnancy, whether or not i'm ok with it. anyway....

Reese is very excited about Christmas, and it's a lot of fun with him this year. We went to hte Festival of Trees last weekend with Juliana, which seems to always be an adventure. Last year we had two flat tires, and it took 3 hours to get there.... this year was a little better, we were driving in a snowstorm and traffice was slow, several accidents, and then we forgot to get directions and went a little too far north, and had to backtrack, which in hte conditions took a while. So after an hour and 20 min we got there...if we're here next year it should take the typical 40 min, if Juliana dares ride with us again! But it was a lot of fun, the trees are just amazing! It's hard to capture it in a photo, but there are some pretty fun ones, and some just beautiful ones. One of our favorites I couldn't get a photo of it was so popular...it was a gingerbread version of the Lavell Edwards Stadium, with the score BYU17 and Utah 10, it was great! The boys favorite part is getting a treat when we're about to leave, (I like that part too!) We got some cookies for them and some awesome chocolates, there were some peppermint nougats covered in milk chocoalte with peppermint pieces on it. YUM! Both the boys nodded off on our way back though, poor Juliana stuck between them. We've had a couple snowstorms, so the boys have had some fun playing in it and making a snowman. Reese is excited for it, but after about 20 min Cameron is ready to come in. Maybe sledding will keep his enthusiasm longer. Anyway, we've had some fun! We're really excited about the Christmas break, and hope we'll have snow then to play in. Of course, we're not at all prepared for 'the most wonderful time of hte year' yet... sorry if christmas cards don't happen, or are late this year, we'll see what we can manage. Have a great week!
