Burned out

It's both literal and figurative.

RD can hardly wait to be done with this job and start his new one. I haven't made a dinner taking more than 1/2 hour to make for probably a week.

In the last few weeks our kitchen light, 4/5 of our dining room light bulbs, and our bathroom light have burned out. The bathroom is at the top of a vaulted ceiling, making it really hard to reach. So we haven't replaced it. Yeah, we shower in the half dark with the light from the counter area.
The kitchen light is an expensive light bulb, and since we're out of here soon, we haven't bothered to go out and buy them. Even though it's pretty annoying to cook by the microwave light.

And our dining room lights just keep burning out, and after we replaced a couple, we ran out of bulbs, and haven't run to the store to get more.

We are kinda burned out.
