The girls love to wonder at and play with bugs. The most popular are roly-poly's, and we've had a few cicadas, praying mantis, and most recently a grasshopper. They get equally startled and delighted in the leaps off the badminton birdie and from hands.
And when the bugs are gone, there are always rocks to wash, dry, and arrange on large grape leaves. Oh the joys of a backyard in fall!
