Snow days!

We had record snow last week, and the boys did a celebration dance when I told them it was a snow day. They were so exited to go out and play, they were all out there by 8 am. which in my opinion, was too cold! and of course Aubree had to go out, which meant a parent too. BRR!

That didn't last too long, but later on there was some sledding on the driveway (which i just loove cause it makes it icy), snowball throwing, a game of snowbaseball, an igloo, lots of shoveling and lots of wet clothes.

Aubree kept taking her gloves off, and getting stuck in the snow. Her boots kept balling up with snow on the bottom too, what's up with that? She wiped out a couple times in the garage with her icy boots, poor kid. We have decided our winter gear for the kids isn't very good, but it is so expensive getting good waterproof stuff as they grow, and i can never find good stuff at the re-sale stores.

tis the season for damp coats and wet socks, cold puddles and limp overalls strewn about the floor!
