For the last couple weeks, and for another couple weeks, we have had four soccer games each Saturday instead of the usual three.. whew! It gets pretty complicated with Aubree's naps, and start and ending of games at the same times or overlapped in different fields, but they kids have sure had a lot of fun, worked hard, and learned. Grace's age group usually does the bunch around the ball kind of game, but it's still fun just to cheer for her :)
Cameron is super speedy, he is like the energizer bunny! He has this burst of speed that is amazing, but he's also always running. He's a little too kind though; for example, yesterday a kid was trying to grab the ball and trip Cameorn, but ended up tripping himself, and even though the field was clear ahead of Cameron he paused to look back and check on the guy that fell before everyone said "go go!
Reese's group gets pretty competitive, and Reese does really well, though he could use a little humbling once in a while :) He really loves soccer, and it's fun to see him getting better.
But while they all enjoy it, I can't wait for the season to be over, and get our weeknights and Saturdays back. Except by then it'll be cold out. oh well. At least it's sunny, woot woot!
