The rest of the drive to Bellingham, WA was long, but the kids did really well for all the driving. As always, the portable dvd player was our best friend,
but Grace didn't get to watch, so she da to amuse herself by shredding napkins (our car was a disaster by the end of the drive),
and anything else we, or she, could think of.
It cost per checked bag, so we fit everything we thought we'd need until the ferry arrived in our carry on, and tried to get the boys to carry their stuff. It worked part of the time. It would have been a relief to finally be here, but we still weren't into the house and have our stuff for four more days. In the meantime we stayed at the bishop's home with his family; he and his wife work at SEARHC like RD, and it's great to know such wonderful people! They've been a huge help getting settled here.
