We appreciate all the empathy concerning no internet or phone at home! It will likely happen this week if the stars are aligned correctly. We have a beautiful day going on here in Sitka... apparently it will be our last one as the rainy seasons settles in during the September and October months. You can check it out by visiting:

We have been loving it here and already have some crazy stories to tell: stitches, bears, catching salmon, whales, hikes, totem poles, crab catchin'. Hopefully we can spew it out on the internet this week sometime! :) take care everyone! Go COUGARS!!!!

After talking to a family in our ward who lived in Kodiac(I think that is the right place) for several years you are experiencing the culture of Alaska - they will do it when they get around to it. They expressed it as going back in time. Good luck.
