Just let me think about it...

A week ago we (mostly RD) potty-trained Cameron. He still has a hard time with the staying dry through the night, but he hasn't had an accident while he was awake since Sunday. Way to go Cameron!
Of course, this kind of success required much concentration and effort on the part of Cameron.

We did the same thing we did with Reese, a book called Toilet training in Less than a Day by Nathan Azrin and Richard Foxx. It seemed like everyone thought we were off our rocker and it wasn't going to phappen, but our friends who recommended the book had done it with their kid(s?), and it's actually empirically based. It was first published I think in the 70's, but there are lots of books based on the same concepts now. Course, it probably helps our kids were both almost 3 1/2 when we did it... it was about time!
