Well she's here!! It was a wild experience. Debbie's recouping at the hospital right now and they'll both be coming home tomorrow (friday) night. So in a nutshell, here's the story: Debbie went into the hospital to get a non-stress test done and they found that the baby's heartrate was high so they decided to induce her that same evening (wednesday). When we got to the hospital at 6 pm they found that her heartrate had dropped significantly. They were worried that they might have to do a C-Section. However, the heartrate still remained active so they monitored it quite closely. At about 12:15 am they found that our girl was ready to come out. Debbie only needed to push 3 times before she entered our lives! When she came out, they found that the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck 3 times. They immediately took her away because she was really blue. They got her breathing normally. She came back and told us that she was a miracle baby... that having the cord wrapped 3 times around the neck often results in a still birth or some other major life threatening problems. We feel so blessed that she is alright! She truly is a miracle and we feel the tender mercies of the Lord on our little family. I feel so indebted to my Savior for sparing her life. We were glad that our prayers for her safety were in line with his Will. So here are some of the 100's of pics we have taken already.... I'm sure you'll see more in the future!
