Last Saturday we all went somewhere as a family for the first time!! I was very happy to get out of the house, and remarked on 300 S being repaved, and RD started joking that yeah, now we had cars that fly, and all sorts of other change since I've been at home sick. Ha ha. We went to the Homecoming parade with Leslie and their kids (Nate was at fall camporee).

There were lots of fun things to look at, including the random group of evil Star Wars characters. The Folk Dance group gave away ballons, which was fun until Cameron lost his and Reese popped his in the grass... but at least they were happy about the candy they got to catch!

Cameron was a little grumpy at first, (it was kind of an early excursion) but toosie rolls sure helped!

Reese took awhile to get into the candy gathering, and Cameron never really got into it, but they got enough to stay busy and happy!

This is just a shot from a couple weeks ago, these boys love to joke around! They are so funny! Course, sometimes it's those typical what-to-do parent moment..like a couple days ago we went to Costco to get their hot dogs for dinner, and Reese pointed to man with a belly hanging over and said, look, that man has a big tummy! maybe he eat a lot of food."
And ( I guess because i've thrown up so much) he talks about how when the baby gets big it'll come out of my mouth, but he's worried maybe the baby will be too big to fit. Oh, when and how much to explain is always tricky! It sometimes surprises me how concrete his thinking is... he had a school project, all about my family, and he was supposed to draw about different family members etc on different pages, but each page was in the shape of a house, and he resisted drawing anything but the door and windows and couches etc. He had to draw him and Cameron riding bikes outside the house shape, because they ride outside!
What can we say, it's a great adventure!!
